The Lens Catalog shows every lens product your lab has on SpecCheck, both active and inactive. Use it to clean up product names, fix how products are classified, and see exactly which lenses, tints, and services are available to order.
Where to Find the Lens Catalog
Click Catalogs in the left sidebar, then Lens Catalog. The Catalogs section also holds your Frame Catalog and Product Lists.
Browse Your Lens Products
Each row shows a product's:
Type, such as Coat
Display Name, the name shown on SpecCheck
Classification, such as Coat Type: Anti-Reflective or Scratch
Lab Product Code, the code from your LMS
Narrow the list with the Type, Display Name, and Lab Product Code filters, or click Clear filters to start over. Products are shown 20 per page. Use Next Page and Previous Page to move through results.
Rename and Reclassify Products
You can make changes right from the table:
Rename a product: Hover over the product's Display Name and click the pencil icon, then update the name so it's clear to your team and ECPs.
Reclassify a product: Use the dropdown in the Classification column to change its lens type, coat type, and similar details. For coats, the Coat Type options are Anti-Reflective, Scratch, UV, and Mirror.
Changes apply everywhere the product appears, including the create order form and the order details page for past orders.
View Your Active Catalog
Click View Active Catalog in the upper right to see only the products that are currently available to order:
Lens Options are shown nested. Each lens style expands to its materials, and each material expands to its add-ons.
Tints & Services are listed on the right.
A summary at the bottom shows the total number of styles, materials, and add-ons.
đĄ Not seeing a product? It's missing from your LMS catalog configuration. To make it appear, update your LMS and make sure the product mapping exists.
Control What Each ECP Can Order
The Lens Catalog shows everything your lab offers. To limit which lenses, services, tints, frames, and redo types a specific account can order, build a Product List in Catalogs â Product Lists and assign it to the ECP.
