What is the Frame Catalog?
The Frame Catalog is where your lab hosts and manages the frames you support. Add frames to a Product List so ECPs can select verified frame data during order entry instead of typing it by hand.

Find and Manage Frames
Click Catalogs in the left sidebar, then Frame Catalog.
Filter with the Manufacturer, Model, Color, Eye Size, and UPC chips, or use Search Frames.
Add frames with Add New Frame (manually, with Frames Data, or by CSV).
Bulk actions: Check one or more frames to take action on them, such as deleting them.
Edit a frame: Use the "..." menu in the Actions column, or open its Frame Details page and click More.
Make Frames Available to ECPs
Frame Lists have been replaced by Product Lists. To control which frames an account can order:
Go to Catalogs → Product Lists.
Create a new list or click an existing one.
In Step 3: Select Frames & Redos, check the frames to include and choose at least one Redo Type, then click Save.
Open the ECP from the ECPs page. On the Overview tab, click Assign Product List (or Assign New Product List if the account already has one). The Assign Product List window opens.
Choose the list from the Select Product List dropdown, review the preview, then click Save. You'll see a confirmation that the product list was assigned. An ECP can have more than one Product List.
If Frames aren't enabled for your lab, the Frames column in the Select Frames & Redos step is locked and shows "Frames are currently not enabled for your lab." To enable Frames, contact [email protected].
How to Upload Your Frame Catalog via CSV
The template has a header row and one example row. Before you fill it out:
Keep the header row exactly as it is. Don't rename, reorder, add, or remove columns.
Delete the EXAMPLE row before uploading so it isn't added to your catalog.
File requirements: .csv only • Max 10 MB • Up to 1,000 frames per file

Common Mistakes to Avoid
Leaving the EXAMPLE row in. Delete it before you upload your file.
Adding units or text to number columns. Enter 52, not 52mm.
Using a Material that isn't on the list, or capitalizing it differently. Copy the value exactly as it appears above. For example, acetate frames should be entered as Zyl.
Leaving a required cell blank. Every row needs a Manufacturer, Model, Eye Size, Bridge, Material, and Color.
Letting Excel change your UPCs. Excel can turn long numbers into scientific notation (like 8.05289E+12) or drop leading zeros. Format the UPC column as Text before pasting in your UPCs.
Saving in the wrong format. Save or export as .csv, not .xlsx or .numbers.
FAQ

The old Frames pages have been removed. Click Catalogs → Frame Catalog in the left sidebar to find your frames, then click a frame to open its Frame Details page.
Q: Can we manage multiple frame lines?
Yes. Create separate Product Lists with different frames and assign them to different accounts. An ECP can have more than one Product List.
