Before You Begin
Because ECP access includes sensitive account and order information, please take a moment to review the following security reminders:
⚠️ Verify Access Before Adding. Always confirm that the ECP is authorized to connect with your lab before adding them. If you’re unsure, contact your lab’s management team.
⚠️ Handle Sensitive Information Carefully. Only share ECP account or contact details with approved internal personnel.
Steps to Add an ECP
Log in to your Lab View account.
In the upper right hand corner click the purple Add ECP button.
In the modal that pops up, enter:
Account Name
Account Email Address
Account Number (with the lab)
Address (will autofill; be sure this matches your records exactly and a suite number is added, if applicable)
Click Add ECP once you've double checked the information is correct.
What Happens Next
After the ECP has been added, SpecCheck will immediately send them an email notification letting them know they can log in and access your lab!
If the ECP reports that they haven’t received the email, ask them to check their spam or junk folder, or resend their welcome and/or password reset emails. Learn more about how to send these email here.
