What is My Frames?
My Frames is a SpecCheck Pro feature that lets you build and manage a personalized library of frame records for your office. Instead of relying only on Frames Data, you can store your own inventory – including independent brands and in-office stock – and use those records when creating orders in SpecCheck.
Additionally when you upgrade to Pro, SpecCheck will import and backfill your frame data into our system for free! Learn more here.

With My Frames, you can:

✅ Use your saved frames to pre-fill orders faster and reduce manual entry (Pro users only)
✅ Attach and visualize trace files (.OMA) with key measurements (A Box, B Box, Lens ED, Frame Bridge) for more precise ordering
Free vs. Pro Access
Pro Users: Create unlimited frame records, attach/view trace files, and use your records when submitting orders.
Free Users: Can create and view My Frames to test it out, but cannot use frames in orders.

How to Access My Frames
Log in to your SpecCheck Dashboard.
Click My Frames in the left-hand menu.
From here, you can:
Click Add New Frame to create a new record
Search, sort, or filter your existing records
Open a frame record to edit, delete, or attach a trace file
Build an Rx order directly from a frame record

Free Data Import
When your office upgrades to SpecCheck Pro, we’ll help you get started with one free bulk upload of your current frame inventory. Here’s how it works:
Click here to download the .csv file.
Add your office’s frame information to the template. Make sure every column has a value.
Email the completed .csv file with your SpecCheck account email and location name to [email protected]. Our team will import your data directly into My Frames so your catalog is ready to use.
This one-time upload is included at no extra cost when you upgrade to Pro, making it faster and easier to start building orders with your own frame inventory.

Q: Can I import my existing frame catalog into My Frames?
Yes! If you upgrade to Pro, our team can backfill and import your frames for you. Click here to learn more and get started.
Q: Which trace file types are supported?
My Frames supports industry-standard .OMA trace files.
Q: Can Free users use My Frames when placing orders?
No. Free users can only create up to 3 records to try the feature, but cannot use them in orders.
Q: Where do I see my trace file once it’s uploaded?
In the Frame Details page, the file will be stored with the record, and you’ll see a visualization of the shape along with key measurements in the Trace File section.
