SpecCheck creates unique office accounts based on the exact physical address entered during setup. If your lab partner grants access using an address that doesn’t perfectly match your existing office, a duplicate location may be created. You can easily merge these locations by updating the address on the duplicate account to match the correct one.
How to Merge Duplicate Office Locations
1. Switch to the Duplicate Location
Click the office name in the upper-left corner of your sidebar. From the dropdown, select the location with the incorrect or duplicate address.
Tip: Make sure you know which address is correct before making changes.
2. Go to Settings → Office Details
Once you’re in the duplicate location, click Settings in the left sidebar, then choose Office Details.
3. Update the Address to Match Exactly
Edit the office address so that it exactly matches your existing location (down to punctuation, spacing, and abbreviations). Once saved, SpecCheck will automatically merge the duplicate into the correct office account.
