If you're trying to create a new SpecCheck account but didn't receive a password reset email, this could happen for a few reasons.

SpecCheck couldn't automatically validate your account with your lab partner

For your security, SpecCheck uses various measures to confirm when a new user signs that they should in fact have access to an account's data. Sometimes, this requires the lab to manually validate a new user's access. When this happens, we'll let you know that the lab needs a bit more time via email. Please allow your lab partner a few business days to manually add you, at which point you will receive a password reset email.

If you still haven't been added after a few business days, please contact your lab partner or representative directly to be added.

You already have a SpecCheck account

If a SpecCheck account is already tied to your email, you will not receive a password reset request when a new account is created. To access your existing account, please log in using your credentials. If you don't remember your password, this can be reset by clicking the Forgot password? link on the log in page.

Check your spam folder

Sometimes certain emails will filter our initial password reset email into your spam folder, or block the request entirely. We encourage you to check your spam folder or reach out to your IT administrator if you suspect this is happening.
