How to Enable and Assign Accounts on Rep View (Lab View)

Rep View allows labs to limit what accounts a user can see based on their assigned sales territory. Once enabled, users will only have visibility into accounts associated with their Rep ID.

How to Enable Rep View

To activate Rep View, you’ll need to assign a Rep ID to an existing user:

  1. Go to Settings → Team & Roles

  2. Find the user you’d like to update

  3. Click the “…” (three dots) next to their name

  4. Select Edit User

  5. Enter a Rep ID. Please note, these are case sensitive!

  6. Save changes

Once a Rep ID is added, the user will only see accounts associated with that Rep ID.


How Accounts Get Assigned to a Rep

After assigning a Rep ID, there are two ways accounts can be associated with that user:

Option 1: Automatic Sync (DVI Labs Only)

  • If your lab is integrated with DVI, account assignments may be synced automatically based on incoming data.

  • This will happen as data is received; no manual action needed.

Option 2: Manual Assignment

Admins can manually assign accounts to a rep:

  1. Navigate to the desired account

  2. Click More Actions

  3. Select Assign Sales Rep

  4. Choose the appropriate user


Important Notes

  • Users without a Rep ID will continue to see all accounts.

  • Once Rep View is enabled, any accounts not assigned to that Rep ID will be hidden from that user.

  • Manual assignment is the fastest way to ensure correct visibility if you don’t want to wait for automatic syncing.
