What Happens When a Payment Fails
If a Pro payment fails, your account is automatically downgraded to our Free plan.
You will lose Pro features while the account is on Free.
You will receive an email notifying you that the payment failed and that your account was downgraded.
How to Re-Upgrade (Quick)
Open SpecCheck and click Unlock More on the dashboard, or go to Settings → Plans & Billing → Upgrade to Pro
Add or update your payment method.
Confirm the payment to re-activate Pro.
That’s it! Once the payment goes through your account will be upgraded back to Pro.
⚠️ Important Callout
Please Note: When an account is downgraded and then re-upgraded, all custom Standard user roles are reset. Please review and re-apply any team permissions after you re-upgrade.
